Salamat, President Cory

It happened already on August 4. The longest night? For Mona, Polly and Rey it started at 4.51 pm when they lined up with many others

the crowd around them at intramuros, 5.41 pm

its 9.07 pm, dark for sure and raining

9.56 pm ... and raining

... and at 1.46 am, well...

2.17 am, taken a mere 9hours 26 minutes after the first picture and finally not so far anymore to the entrance of Manila Cathedral
,

2.39 am, Mona Polly and Rey on way to the car, others still patiently queuing. They too liked to be part of history and have their few private seconds with President Corazon Aquino. After all, as Tita (auntie) Cory she was family to everybody

pinning ceremony nicole apodaca

march 21, 2009
saint paul university manila

The Pinning Ceremony held immediately after the Holy Mass was the shining moment of each and every Nursing Graduate as they all marched in groups of four to receive their pins and be formally called Les Lumieres des Malades meaning The Lights of the Sick.

Nicole Apodaca, fondly called Ningning by family and friends, a few moments after receiving a certificate of merit award from the school. Nicole is the youngest daughter of Dr. Nestor Apodaca, a Doctor of Medicine, Past Presiden of Rotary Club of San Pedro, Laguna, Honorary Member of Rotary Club of Camino Real, an outstanding Golfer and a proud Father to Ningning and Kate and a devoted, loyal husband to Pia.

The whole class of Nursing Graduates Batch 2008-9. The Stars are smiling. Like the song, When you wish upon a star, Ako Iyon. He He He.

The Shining Star, Nicole, flanked by her Mom Pia and equally beauteous sister, Kate.Who is the fairest of us all?

The unbeatable trio, Tita Mona, Graduate Nicole and Tita Polly being challenged on the background by the Trying Hard Beauties of Mawee and Kate.

Parents, here are your children, from Bobbie Socks to Perfume. What a nice way to raise children.
